Clarkson, also known as Clarkson Village, is a neighbourhood located in the southern region of Mississauga which is located just west of Port Credit and east of Oakville. The neighbourhood stretches along a portion of Lake Ontario with many beautiful parks and homes being located directly on the shoreline. With a rich history of establishment, Clarkson still maintains its charm as a quiet community along the shores of Lake Ontario.

Unlike the neighbouring neighbourhood of Port Credit, which offers a more lively experience, Clarkson maintains the authentic charm of a small village. Situated south of the QEW, commuters can easily find themselves downtown Toronto in less than 30 minutes by car. On the other hand, with parking becoming a luxury in downtown Toronto, commuters can hop on a GO train and arrive at Toronto’s Union Station in approximately 45 minutes. Going west, residents of Clarkson can easily access Oakville, Burlington and Hamilton in less than 45 minutes as well.

Clarkson is known for its large, upscale homes and friendly community. The area is primarily residential, with a mix of single-family homes and townhouses. The community is surrounded by parks and green spaces, including Rattray Marsh Conservation Area and Jack Darling Memorial Park, which offer opportunities for hiking, biking, and bird watching. The neighbourhood is also home to the Clarkson GO Station, which provides convenient access to public transportation for residents. Additionally, the Clarkson Village, which is a commercial area that has a few restaurants, cafes, shops, and services. The area is considered to be one of the most sought-after neighbourhoods in Mississauga and is known for its quiet streets, great schools, and family-friendly atmosphere.
